It is a five-minute walk from the Metro-North train station in Beacon, 60 miles (80 minutes by train) north of NewYork City. Dia Beacon's expansive spaces are well suited to the needs of large-scale installations, paintings, and sculptures. The Dia Beacon Cafe is open Friday–Monday, 9:45 am–3:45 pm. Operated by Mountain Provisions, the cafe offers a seasonal menu of house-made soups, salads, and sandwiches, as well as local pastries, coffee, and espresso drinks. Dia:Beacon provides guided tours every Saturday and Sunday at 12:30 and 2 pm. Tours are free with admission. Reservations are not necessary but can be made in person at the admissions desk. Dia art Foundation is committed to welcoming all visitors to Dia Beacon. Advance timed-ticket online reservations are required for admission, no tickets are sold onsite. Inside, capacity is limited so that there is ample space for social distancing.
